8-year-old Marco (Felix Steitz) suffers from his father's absence. On Christmas morning his father is gone - "working", as he is told by his mother, but Marco is convinced that his father left because of her contentiousness. When Marco thinks to see his father, passing him by in a bus, his confusion is complete... Do his parents keep secrets from him? Or is his mind playing tricks on him? He puts his parents to the test: if he gets himself into danger, his father has to show up...
